Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you work with?
I typically work with goalkeepers ages 8 and up. Each session is adjusted to match your child’s age, attention span, and skill level — from early learners to serious youth competitors.
Does my child need to have experience in goal?
Not at all. I work with beginners who are just trying out the position and advanced keepers playing at competitive levels. Every keeper has a starting point — and my goal is to help them build confidence and grow from there.
How long are the sessions, and what’s included?
Sessions are usually 60 minutes long. We cover warm-ups, technical drills (like handling, diving, and positioning), and finish with game-like reps. Each session is structured but flexible — designed to challenge without overwhelming.
Do you offer group or private training? What’s the difference?
Yes, I offer both:
Group goalie training provides energy, repetition, and a team-like environment. Kids work alongside other keepers, learning through competition and support.
Private 1:1 soccer goalkeeper training allows for focused, customized coaching. These sessions are great for building confidence, correcting bad habits, or preparing for tryouts.
Not sure which is best for your child? I'm happy to talk through it.
How do we book a session?
You can book directly through the site or contact me to set up a time. I’ll walk you through everything — from what to bring to what your child will learn.
What should my child bring?
Just the essentials:
Goalkeeper gloves
Cleats and water
A ball (optional — I have extras)
And a good attitude!
Can I watch the session?
Yes — you’re welcome to stay and watch. I do ask that parents let the session flow without sideline coaching, but I’m always happy to chat afterward and update you on how things are going.
Do you offer session packages or sibling discounts?
Yes! I offer multi-session packages. If you have more than one child training, let me know — I can work with you on pricing and scheduling.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 4 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Short-notice cancellations may be charged to protect the limited training spots.
How will I know if my child is improving?
I make it a point to track progress — and communicate it clearly. I’ll share what we’re working on, what’s going well, and where we’re going next. My goal is to build confidence, consistency, and a love for the game in every young keeper.
